I wanted to let you know how impressed I was by the JML team, who completed Phase 2 of the landscaping. Every one of our neighbours has commented on their professionalism and the huge improvement they have made. We couldn’t be happier with the overall result, and I think that your plant operator, Adrian, is quite the artist at the controls of the digger and should be nominated for a Turner prize! The young lads did a thorough job removing old gorse and raking the topsoil. Whilst it’s not the most interesting task, yet they did it with diligence and good humour. Hopefully, the hydroseeding will take quickly and the transformation will be complete. With thanks for all the excellent work.

I really cannot recommend this company enough. Tomas, the Contracts Manager, is one of the most professional individuals I have ever had the pleasure to have dealt with. All the way from planning stages, through to project completion, everything worked out exactly as Tomas predicted with a finished job second to none.
The entire team at JML Contracts Ltd from John the owner, Tomas the Contracts Manager, Jim the plant operator supported by Jamie the onsite services operator, were all an absolute pleasure to deal with and have on site.

We are happy to recommend JML Contracts without any reservations. John and his team are highly professional, do a fantastic job for a very fair price and have a great attitude. The guys were always happy and polite even when working during harsh Scottish winter weather and difficult site conditions. The end result is stunning, the gabion walls are one of our favourite aspects of the whole house build. They look fantastic and set off our new house perfectly, plus do a wonderful drainage job and are home to lots of wildlife, birds, insects and even lizards.

I can confirm that JML Contracts has satisfactorily completed masonry remedial works to Tuchethill Bridge on a subcontract basis. The works were carried out timeously and masonry workmanship was very good. Several positive comments from members of the public have been received regarding the finished work.

Maccaferri Construction has employed JML Contracts on several occasions, on a labour and plant sub-contract basis, for the construction of gabion retaining walls. On each occasion we have found JML Contracts to undertake the package of work in a professional manner and the quality of workmanship was certainly up to the standards that we would expect from our own workforce.

I & H Brown have worked with JML Contracts on a number of projects over the last ten years. JML have the professionalism and reliability required in today’s construction market. From the construction of control buildings on windfarm projects to the building of gabion retailing wall systems (including the creation of extensive culverts and retaining systems on the M80 upgrade from Stepps to Haggs), they completed their works on time and to the required specification. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend JML Contracts.

JML Contracts designed, supplied and installed a Greenslope Reinforced Earth Wall at our residential development, Bowfield Hall in West Kilbride. The project was managed by JML from design to completion with the upmost professionalism, which enabled them to complete works on time and on budget. We look forward to utilising their services in the future and would have no hesitation recommending them for similar works.

JML Contracts carried out all the groundworks for our SIPs family home which was supplied and erected by JML SIPs. It was great that we were able to use one company for both services which allowed it to be seamless, cost effective and stress free.

JML Contracts built a weldmesh gabion retaining wall for us at Dunblane High School. We found them very reliable and organised in their running of the project, always being readily available for site meetings and project updates. Their team was skilled and professional, and I couldn’t fault the service provided which was reasonably priced and completed punctually. We hope to use JML Contracts again in the future.
