PAYROLL ASSISTANT

We’re a growing construction business with around 60 employees, across four busy divisions: Civils, Gabion/Retentions, Garden Rooms and SIPs housing. The work is varied, steady and the finance team is right at the centre of keeping everything running smoothly.

We’re looking for someone with solid weekly payroll experience to join us for two days a week, fixed as Monday and Tuesday.

This is an office-based role within a friendly, down-to-earth team that values accuracy, reliability and good communication.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the end-to-end weekly payroll process

Checking timesheets, hours and adjustments accurately

Handling payroll changes, starters and leavers

Querying any inaccuracies confidently with managers and chasing up missing timesheets

Managing payroll queries from the team

Providing general finance admin support when things get busy

What we’re looking for:

Previous payroll experience is essential (weekly payroll preferred)

Confident using finance or payroll systems (Xero and BrightPay)

Comfortable with numbers, detail and deadlines

Organised, dependable and easy to work with

Willing to speak to managers when needed, in person and by telephone

Confident, clear and not afraid to follow things up

Experience of calculating average holiday pay would be helpful

EXPERIENCED JOINER

We are looking for an experienced joiner to join our team of installers, working on a variety of building projects throughout the country.
This is a permanent position, with ongoing training and development opportunities within the organisation for the right individual. A competitive remuneration package is offered, comprising salary based on experience, bonus structure and access to company pension scheme.
You must be able to demonstrate experience working on projects with associated joinery construction techniques. Excellent communication and time management skills are vital, along with a full UK driving licence. Experience of working with SIPs and a valid CSCS card would be advantageous, but are not essential. Due to the geography of contracts, working away from home may be required.

This is a customer-facing role working on high-quality projects requiring impeccable attention to detail, the ability to be proactive and to work both as part of a team and unsupervised, using your own initiative. We are looking for someone who is motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, well mannered, friendly, punctual and organised.
If you have a proven track record delivering first class projects, enjoy learning new techniques and have a desire to progress your career, this may be the job for you.
Salary: £16.00 – £18.00 per hour, depending on experience.

GABION PREFILL INSTALLER

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Gabion Installers to join our Pre-Fill Yard team. Based primarily at our Prefill Yard in Aberuthven, this role may involve occasional work at various site locations.
These are permanent, full-time positions with the opportunity for long-term career development. While experience in the industry is advantageous, we are happy to offer full training to the right candidate.
