Litter Picking on Barra

While poor weather delayed our helicopter delivery of materials to our renovation works at Kisimul Castle recently, team JML made the most of the unexpected downtime on the beautiful Isle of Barra. Our team spent Sunday doing a community litter pick around Castlebay and the stunning surrounding beaches – all while taking in the island’s breathtaking scenery and enjoying some great chats with locals along the way.

We’re proud to be working with Historic Scotland on the restoration of this iconic site and even prouder to have the chance to give back to such a welcoming and vibrant community. A big thank you to everyone on Barra for making us feel at home and for supporting our work, both on and off the site.
