Project overview

JML Contracts carried out a full design, supply and installation package for three reinforced earth structures, the largest being over 10m in height. These abutments for the new Garnock Bridge were built in a concrete faced reinforced earth system providing the required 120yr design life.

Working closely with Tensar and Fehily Timoney, the project engineers, JML Contracts provided a full design, supply and installationpackageusingthe TensarTW3wallingsystem.

The guys were always happy and polite even when working during harsh Scottish winter weather and difficult site conditions. The end result is stunning, the gabion walls are one of our favourite aspects of the whole house build.
